Barracuda 340 and HAProxy Working Together
I have been looking on google for anyone that is using the Barracuda 340 and some tricks in the setup and nothing. The documents on the load balancer is rotten. I will say the support people are great and a great help in the configuration of the unit. If you configure one setting wrong and BAM broken service.
I have two MySql servers setup in a master master configuration. I wanted to have both servers able to take connections so I setup HAProxy 1.4.11 to manage the services.
Web servers are using Barracuda 340 Fireware v3.5.0.008 configuration with Layer 7 on both port 80 and 443 and MySql services are managed with HAProxy 1.4.11 configuration for the load balancing connections:

Winter Storm Coming .. yah sure.. whatever.
Again the Weather Network is saying we are going to get ALOT of snow and guess what so far this year they have been wrong.. yes we have gotten snow for sure this year but not as much as they have stated in the last 4 months.. if we got half the snow they suggested we would have about 100 CM out there on the ground this year and I am sure we are not even close to that.. but to get better RATING they are “GUESSING” again that we will get 40 to 50 CM of snow Friday. HONESTLY my bet is yes we get snow.. and rain and it will be like 10 cm. The Weather Network is on the air to make money that is the facts
If you want to review weather maps here is a great site to do that.
Pictures in January 2011

I love taking pictures and I love taking alot of them, but this year has been busy with the day to day of life and the darn cold of winter keeping me out. I find now that I am 25 years old (hmmm that is right… give or take a couple of years) that the cold kills me. so here is a couple of outdoor pictures and some indoor photoshop jobs on the cold cold days
Merry Christmas
Hello All… looks like Christmas is almost here and it has been a tough one so far
Myself I found out I have Type II diabetes, gull stones, and a fatty liver all this on the day after my 40th .. hmm I mean 27th birthday. I am doing great I am eating better, eating more often and start to get better exercise.
My dog Monty damaged his back and had to get work done to fix it and he is recovering great almost has 90% of physical movement back in his legs.. he almost did not make this but I am very happy to see him on the go again and loving life!
I have lost two family member in a week! two funerals in a 7 day period we lost my Aunt my fathers last sister and less than a week later lost my wife’s great uncle both will be missed greatly by my families.
I just want to turn this around and get back to the love Christmas and hope this is the end of the dark clouds for 2010.
Kowboy Mike’s big feast

Today is Kowboy Mike’s Birthday and last night I was at a very large feast in his honour. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!
Halloween 2010
I remember as a kid looking around on Halloween and honestly seeing thousands of kids all over the place in Montague getting candy, having fun, doing tricks, and things like burning tires and wooden bridges every year… but now Halloween is so lonely with very few kids around to enjoy the event of of the year… The big issue is we are not having children anymore and if we do it is one maybe two.. when I was a kid I came from a family of 8 kids and when I would see a single child I felt sorry for them and could not understand why there parents would do that to them. I think we need to make good to parents and ensure they can have kids… with better tax cuts to larger families and over all wage increases to support those larger families. I am very thankful that I have alots of sisters so I can share memories and events that made us who we are… I hope we have a second baby boom soon because what is communities without children.
Ipad is Electric

I think apple has changed the world and microsoft will never be the same again….
Send you to the MOON!
What a great Movie about the first trip to the moon
Microsoft Super Patch!
Microsoft will roll out a whopper load of patches
THE LATEST confidence building exercise by Microsoft is making all users feel so much better about the company’s software with 49 vulnerabilities set to be patched next week.
The fact that this number of vulnerabilities being patched at any one time is the biggest ever, by far, only shows how committed Microsoft is to showing how insecure its software is. Microsoft’s Tuesday patches are becoming as notorious as Friday the 13th, not the films but the superstition about the date being doom laden.
And Tuesday 12 October is only going to reinforce that view, with its scheduled 16 updates for security vulnerabilities in just about every piece of Microsoft software you can name. In no particular order of importance or insecurity they are the Windows operating system (OS), the Internet Explorer web browser, the Microsoft Server OS and the Microsoft Office suite of applications software.
Remote code execution seems to be a specific and pervasive problem with four critical updates being required to tackle that for all versions of Windows, not even just the old ones. Remote code execution is also green kryptonite for all Internet Explorer versions – IE6, IE7 and IE8. Obviously red and black kryptonite have entirely different effects. The Microsoft Office applications Word and Excel get just two important patches, how boring.
Now people might wish they were running Windows Vista, because the hackers probably aren’t bothering with that
Montague is for Turkeys
Went to the old homeland for supper with the family… food was great and had a great time
SUPER DOG!
Red Rock Wrestling Show

This was the very best show to date! The action did not stop and the crowd was LOUD! LOL
All good things come to a end.
After moving back from Moncton to go to college here on PEI I wanted a good place to work that was near school… so the very new resturant had opened PIAZZA JOES! I was considering going back to Pizza Delight which I worked at for many many years but this new place was very interesting… and I must say it was the best thing, from this place I met my wife and started a family. This place was one of the very best places I have worked. Joe L. the owner is like a father to all that works for him and I will truly miss all the great times.. I consider the closing of this restaurant like a death in the family or selling the house you grew up in.. I would like to thank Joe and all my PJ family for the great memories over the years.
Mandy and Alex: Earth Wind and Fire (alarm)
This was honestly the best wedding event of the summer. It has crazy weather, crazy people, and crazy surprises to boot. I think it will be talked about for many years to come
Congrats to Mandy & Alex.
